Instead, give away small toys to trick-or-treaters, such as Halloween-themed erasers or stuffed animals.
Your waistline will appreciate the lack of temptation. If you must have candy, buy less than you need so you’re bound to run out, or the kind you don’t like, that way you won’t eat the leftovers.
