Gaze at outdoor photos to be more positive and happy.
You’ve probably heard that spending time outdoors, surrounded by nature, can help you reduce stress and increase happiness.
Studies have shown that a short walk outside can help you increase your focus and work better. But if you can’t get out into real nature, a photo will do just fine.
A follow-up study to one of the nature studies had subjects performing memory and attention tasks. A 10-minute break in a quiet room with outdoor photos improved their task performance more than a walk on a city street.
So, do your best to get out to a park for a break. But, if you can’t, surrounding yourself with some nice nature shots will help, too.
