Lollipops help make the medicine go down.
Getting the medicine to go down for kids has been a problem since long before Mary Poppins sang about it. But she’s on the right track.
For some liquids your kids just won’t swallow, try letting them dip a lollipop into the medicine.
Have your child suck on the lollipop and re-dip it until the medicine is gone. Then the rest of the lollipop serves as a reward.
If that doesn’t work, ask your pharmacist about safe flavorings for your child’s medicines.
